Jefferson County Judge Jeff Branick tells us he is planning to sign a disaster declaration that
would have a provision to limit the size of gatherings in Jefferson County. Judge Branick will
continue to communicate with the department of state health services to finalized the declaration.
The declaration would impact the South Texas State Fair and other gatherings in the county over the coming weeks.
