Beaumont police are investing a late night shooting. Just past 11:00 last night police were
called to the 1500 block of Victoria and found a man in the street that had been shot twice.
The victim told police he was confronting a man that was attempting to break into his
roommate’s vehicle when he was shot. The victim was transported to the hospital and is
expected to recover. The suspect left a red Nissan Altima. Anyone with any information is
