Port Arthur police have made an arrest in a shooting. A 13-year old girl was at the Sunset
Way Apartments in the 3200 block of Central Mall Drive. The victim, who was rushed to
the hospital for emergency surgery, stated a relative shot her. 30-year old Timothy Harris has
been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon/family violence. He is jailed in the
Jefferson County Correctional Facility.
