+The five Southeast Texas county judges have decided not to implement at “Stay at Home” order. An addendum has been added to the current order from the counties that orders people to limit one adult member of a household can enter a grocery store, warehouse store, big-box store, any store within a strip center or mall, liquor store, gas stations, convenience stores, and farmers’ markets. The only exception is unless an individual requires physical or medical needs, or is a parent for a child where there is no alternative care.
+As of yesterday, Wednesday March 25th, 832 calls had been made to the Southeast Texas Call Center. 187 have been referred for testing since the call center opened on Monday. 32 scheduled for testing at the drive through site yesterday. The number to call for screening to find if you you qualify for testing is 409-550-2536.
+The number of reported positive COIVD-19 tests in Southeast Texas have not changed since Tuesday. Seven positive cases in Beaumont, one in Lumberton, one in Silsbee, and one in Orange.
+Beginning Friday, the Silsbee ISD will be distributing Distance Learning packets for all students at designated campuses No one will be allowed to leave their vehicle and you are asked to have your child’s first and last name and grade largely written on a piece of paper and placed on your dash. Pick up times will be 8:00-10:00 for students whose last name begins A-D, 10:00- Noon for E-K, Noon-2:00 for L-R, and 2:00-3:30 for students with last names beginning with S- Z. Packets must be picked up at your child’s campus.
