+The list of positive COVID-19 tests in Southeast Texas continues to grow

17 in Jefferson County…12 in Beaumont, 3 in Port Arthur, 1 in Groves,1 in unincorporated area of the county

9in Hardin County..6 in Lumberton, 3 in Silsbee

5 in Orange County….3 in Vidor,1 in Bridge City,1 in Mauriceville

1 in Jasper County, 5 in Chambers County, 2 in Liberty County

+The Southeast Texas Call Center for screening will once again begin taking calls at 8:00 this morning. You must call 409-550-2536 to be screened before testing. Last week, nearly 1,200 calls were made to the center. The call center for Jefferson, Orange, Hardin, Jasper, Newton, and Tyler Counties is in operation Monday-Friday from 8:00 to 5:00.

+The testing site at the Jerry Ware Terminal at the Jack Brooks Regional Airport is open Monday-Friday from 8:00-5:00. Those needing tested must call the call center before arriving. A second drive through testing center is expected to open this week in Lumberton,

+ Effective today, the Christus Southeast Texas Health System is implementing a no visitors

policy except those essential to patient care.

Emergency Department:No visitors except parents with children under 18, one visitor with patients unable to make decisions and for those in a critical situation.

Inpatient /Intensive Care Unite Visitors: No visitors except those in a critical and end of life situation

Outpatient Visitors: No visitors unless caregiver is necessary or transport or assistance

Labor & Delivery Patients: One support person only ( no changing out)
