A man is jailed following a hit and run incident in Beaumont. A bicyclist was struck by
a vehicle Sunday morning in the 5300 block of Delaware. The driver, 52-year old Jason
Lynn McKnight of Beaumont, was stopped near Delaware and Eastex. He is charged with
accident involving personal injury or death. The victim was transported to Houston Memorial
Hospital and was last listed in critical condition.
