COVID-19 Update: Monday 4/06/20

+There are now 121 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the six Southeast Texas county region. 64 in Jefferson County, 28 in Hardin County, 23 in Orange County, 3 in Jasper County, 2 in Tyler County, and 1 in Newton County.There have been two deaths in Beaumont and one in Lumberton.

+The 24-hour Southeast Texas Call Center remains in operation. As of Friday, over 2,300 calls had been received at the center since it began operation of March 20th. Remember, you must call 409-550-2536 for a screening before you can be tested. Anyone arriving at a testing center without a code number from the call center will be turned away.

+Orange County offices will be closed this week. County Judge John Gothia says this closure will be evaluated weekly as we move forward. County parks will remain open to the public, but playground equipment is closed for use.
