Governor Greg Abbott is extending the coronavirus disaster declaration. The governor announced his decision yesterday to extend the statewide disaster declaration an additional 30-days. He says it will allow resources to continue to be available to "support our communities and protect public health." The stay at home order is not included in the extension and for now still is set to expire April 30.
