Governor Greg Abbott is putting an end to some of the coronavirus non-essential activity shut
down. Yesterday, the governor announced that certain types of businesses can reopen this
Friday, May 1st. Restaurants, movie theaters and malls are on the list. Bars and gyms, along
with hair, nail and eyelash salons, are not. The governor says it's conceivable that those direct
human to human contact kinds of businesses may reopen by mid-May.
