Transformer Explosion At Port Neches Plant

A transformer explosion caused a fire last night at the Indorama plant in Port Neches. The

refinery’s fire brigade and the Port Neches Fire Department were called to the scene. The

fire forced some of the plant’s units to be shutdown. There were no injuries. Indorama, the

former Huntsman, is located on Spur 136 in Port Neches.
