Beaumont police are investigating an early morning homicide. A man was shot and killed
just before 12:30 this morning in the 3200 block of Elmira. He has been identified as 24-
year old Marcus Savoy, of Beaumont. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A second
gunshot victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Detectives
have several persons of interest they would like to speak with. An arrest has not been made
at this time.
