The DPS will begin opening driver’s license offices today in phases with limited services
offerings. The DPS is launching a statewide appointment system that allows customers to book
appointments up to six months in advanced. The offices will be in phases across the state. Here
in Southeast Texas, offices are part of Phase 3 of the four phase plan and will reopen on June 3rd.
Southeast Texans can start scheduling appointments this coming Friday, May 29th.
