Beaumont police have released the name of a murder victim. 38-year old Gustavo Sanchez, of
Beaumont, was shot and killed Sunday morning in the 1100 block of Houston Street. BPD
detectives want to talk to Sergio Romero about the shooting. At this time he is considered a
person of interest in the shooting death of Sanchez. Romero could be driving a 2007 black
Chevy Silverado with plate #FYR-4243. Anyone with any information is asked to call
