A Groves man is on his was to federal prison for nearly 80 years. 52-year old Patrick Wayne
Bronnon has been sentenced to 78 years after being convicted on 40 charges including
conspiracy to commit fraud and use of fire in commission of a felony. In 2011, Bronnon,
and others began executing a scheme to defraud various insurance companies through
fraudulent claims on homes and vehicles. Homes would be intentionally damaged by water or
fire. The properties were located in Port Arthur, Port Neches, Beaumont, and Sugarland.
