The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office reports a 6-year old boy that was struck by a vehicle on
private property has died. The accident happened in the 2200 block of FM 418 in Kountze.
The boy was playing in the yard at his home when he was struck by a vehicle being operated
by his great grandfather. The boy was transported to a Beaumont hospitalwhere he later
died.
