Beaumont police are investigating what appears to be a murder and attempted suicide. Police
were called to a home in the 300 block of Booker last night and found a man that had died from
a stab wound. A woman found in the home apparently consumed a poisonous liquid. She was
transported to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.
