The bodies of a 17-year old and an 18-year old have been recovered in the Trinity River near
Moss Hill. The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office says the teens jumped into the river Sunday
night near the Highway 105 bridge to rescue a 5-year old girl that struggling in the river. Three
other adults, including the girl’s father were able to gether to the shore safely. The father was
airlifted to a Houston hospital. The bodies of the two teens were found in the river yesterday
morning.
