Nederland ISD has named Dr. Stuart Kieschnick as the lone finalist to become the
district’s next superintendent. Dr. Kieschnick has been with the school district for
more than 20 years. He currently serves as an assistant superintendent. He will replace
Dr. Robin Perez, who retired. State law requires a 21-day waiting period before a
finalist can be hired.
