A Beaumont man has been sentenced to 35 years in prison for sexually abusing his 12-year
old step granddaughter and his 15-year old granddaughter. Both girls reported the incidents
and were interviewed at the Garth House. 59-year old Guadalupe Rodriguez pleaded guilty
to continuous sexual abuse of a child. He will not be eligible for parole and will have to
serve every day of the 35 years.
