BISD has confirmed as staff member, that was on campus at Smith Middle School and
Odom Academy last week has tested positive for COVID-19. Both campuses have
underwent deep cleanings and will reopen today for employees not directly impacted. All
employees who were in contact with the individual have been notified and are required to
self-isolate for 14 days. Members of the public that visited the building in the last week
should monitor their health.
