The DPS is investigating a fatality. 61-year old Mark Randall Wallace, of Beaumont, was
riding his motorcycle on FM 92, seven miles north of Silsbee, Sunday night when a pickup,
that had crashed into a ditch, backed in front of him causing him to fall off his motorcycle.
He was hit by a second pickup and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the
first pickup, 53-year old Jerry Sangwin of Spurger, fled the scene. He was later found
dead at his home. Toxicology screens has been ordered on Sangwin.
