The Newton County Sheriff’s Office reports a contract worker for a debris removal company
died yesterday afternoon after he was electrocuted. The worker was touching a trailer when a lift
boom was struck by an arc from an electrical line and passed through the trailer. He was
pronounced dead at the scene.
