This week Southeast Texas Crime Stoppers and Beaumont Police Detectives need your help identifying a suspect that assaulted a senior citizen at a Beaumont laundromat. Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at approximately 3:30 P.M., a 69 year old woman was assaulted while she was at Eastex Laundry, located in the 2800 block of Eastex. She told officers she got into a disturbance with a black female over a facemask and the suspect threatened to take her cellphone and assaulted her. The suspect is described as a 6ft tall, 250lb, black female, wearing a brown head scarf, green shirt, black panties, one green knee high sock and one black knee high sock. The victim fled the location and called to report the incident. The victim had visible injuries.
