An unannounced security test at the Buna Elementary school yesterday has upset several,
including the district’s superintendent. Officers Michael Henderson and Mark McKinley did not
notify anyone in which one officer dressed in camouflage and tried to enter classrooms.
Teachers called 911 and Jasper County deputies rushed to the school. The incident will
be discussed at the next school board meeting in Buna.
