Murder charges have been filed against a Beaumont man. 18-year old Christopher De’Sean
Mitchell is accused of the October 11th shooting death of 24-year old Christopher Sellers,
who was shot as he and another man were walking in the 1000 block of Nolan Street. The
second man was treated for a gunshot wound. Mitchell and two others were arrested the
following day on a separate carjacking charge. The other two, 17-year old Kyrian Harris
and 17-year old Dominique Abraham are charged with aggravated robbery. They could be
facing additional charges. The murder charges against Mitchell were filed on Tuesday.
