Beaumont police report the Petro Fuel Island on Walden Road, near I-10, was robbed just past
1:00 this morning. The robber asked the clerk for a pack of cigarettes, then pulled a gun
demanding money. After getting cash from the register, he fled on foot. The clerk was not
hurt during the robbery.
