Beaumont city council delayed a vote on an evening meeting Tuesday due to the absence of Councilman Taylor Neild.Neild and Councilman Mike Getz had asked the item be placed on the agenda.The idea of an evening meeting to make attending more convenient for citizens has support from several council members as well as Mayor Becky Ames.
