Port Arthur fire fighters worked a house fire last night in the 2500 block of 18th Street, the same
house where an intruder was shot and killed Sunday night. Shots were also fired at the home
yesterday afternoon.On Sunday night, 27-year old Terrance Ellis was one of three men that
forced their way into the home. Ellis was shot by the homeowner and died at the scene. The
other two intruders fled. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Port Arthur Police
