Outages across the state could be impacting weekly gas prices. Triple A Texas is reporting the
average price in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area is $2.24 a gallon, which is up seven cents from
last week. The statewide average is up five cents to $2.26 a gallon. This morning’s national
average for a gallon of gas is up a dime to $2.60.
