The Texas State University System Board of Regents has appointed a 23-member advisory
committee to assist in the search of a replacement for Lamar University-Beaumont President
Dr. Kenneth Evans, who has announced his retirement. The co-chairs of the committee are
the two local regents on the board Bill Scott and David Montagne. The advisory committee
will work with an executive search firm through May to conduct a nationwide search.
