Port Arthur police have released additional information on Sunday’s shooting at the Econo
Lodge motel on Highway 73. A woman was shot in the chest and transported to the hospital
in serious but stable condition. A second gunshot victim arrived at the hospital by private
vehicle. He had a non-threatening wound. A suspect has been identified in the shootings.
