The Tyler County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of a man that was shot and killed
Sunday morning at a party on FM 1013, west of Spurger. He has been identified as 32-year
old Jamerio Mitchell, of Lufkin. He had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead
at the scene. More than 100 people were at the party and investigators are getting little
cooperation from possible witnesses.
