A Nederland man has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for firearm and drug
violations. 27-year old Esdras Homero Pedroza, who had earlier pleaded guilty to the charges,
was arrested this past August following a pursuit the ended on Highway 69 in Port Arthur.
Methamphetamine, a digital scale, cash, and an AR-15 rifle were found in his pickup. He was
sentenced yesterday.
