Highway 90 has reopened in Jefferson County. The highway was closed for less than an hour
this morning as SWAT members from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office negotiated with a
man that had barricaded himself inside his car near Keith Road. He was extracted from the
vehicle. He did not threaten anyone at the scene. He will be taken to a local hospital for treatment
and a mental evaluation.
