A Beaumont murder suspect is jailed in Victoria on a $1 million bond. 32-year old Joaquin
Humberto Garcia is wanted for Tuesday night’s stabbing death of 40-year old Norlan Moreno.
The stabbing occurred at a residence in the 2900 block of Charles Street in north Beaumont.
The two men, and a woman, all lived at the residence. The woman provided detectives with
video linking Garcia to the murder. He was stopped at detained Tuesday night by police in
Victoria.
