An arrest has been made in Ohio in connection with a murder that occurred in Beaumont 26
years ago. 61-year old Clayton Bernard Foreman is jailed in Columbus, Ohio for the January
1995 murder of 31-year old Mary Catherine Edwards. Her body was found in her home on
Park Meadow Street. She had been sexually assaulted and drowned in her bathtub. Authorities
are working to extradite Foreman to Jefferson County.
