We are paying more at the gas pump this week. Triple A Texas reporting the average price in the
Beaumont/Port Arthur area is $2.61 a gallon, which is up five cents from last week. The
statewide average is up eight cents to $2.65 a gallon. This morning’s national average for a
gallon of gas is $2.95. That is up six cents.
