A Houston man has been sentenced to two years in federal prison attempting to steal an ATM
in Tyler County. 33-year old Aaron Lakeefe Rubins pleaded guilty to attempting to steal the
ATM at the First National Bank in Woodville in March of last year. Two others with Rubins
were able to get away. Rubins, who was sentenced yesterday, was also to pay nearly $7,000 in
restitution for the damaged ATM.
