Bond has been denied on a woman jailed in Jasper County after the body of 6-year old Samuel
Olson was found in duffel bag a motel room. 29-year old Theresa Balboa was arrested at the
Best Western in Jasper Tuesday night. A Crime Stoppers tip led officers to the motel.
Balboa, the girlfriend of Samuel’s father, is charged with tampering with evidence. It is
believed the 6-year old was placed in a storage shed in Webster after his death and before
Balboa transported the body. Samuel was last seen on May 2nd, was reported missing May 27th.
