An officer involved shooting is under investigation in Beaumont. Police were called to the
Linbergh Overpass Saturday night about a welfare concern. Once on the scene, the suspect
drove a vehicle towards officers, one officer was injured. Officers fired shots at the driver, who
received non-life injuries. The officer and the suspect were both transported to the hospital.
No one else was injured.
