A woman is jailed following a police chase that started in Baytown yesterday and ended on
Highway 73 in Jefferson County. Speeds during the pursuit reached as high as 115 mph. During
the pursuit, the woman hit the back of an 18-wheeler and kept going. The chase ended near
Port Arthur. The 37-year old woman is facing multiple charges, including evading.
