National Vegetable Day

(Undated) -- Today is an opportunity to continue with a healthy part of your diet. It's National Eat Your Vegetables Day. The food items your parents always made you eat can contain protein, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. USDA Dietary Guidelines recommend eating three-to-five servings of veggies each day. Vegetable day also falls in the middle of National Fresh Fruit and Vegetables Month.
