Robin Mouton will become the next mayor of Beaumont. Mouton picked up 52% of the vote in
Saturday’s runoff election to defeat Roy West. Just under 24% of the eligible voters in Beaumont
took part in the runoff. Mouton, who most recently served as councilwoman in Ward 4, will be
sworn in as mayor of Beaumont on June 29th.
