A 28-year man is jailed in Orange County following a standoff with police and SWAT in Vidor
on Sunday. Police were called to the home in the 100 of Heritage after a woman called and said
her husbandwas threatening her with a firearm. Four small children and a nurse were also in
the home. SWAT was called to the scene and after three hours, Henry Allen Barnhart exited
the house and was taken into custody. Barnhart is charged with aggravated assault family
violence.
