A chase that started in Orange County last night ended when the driver crashed between
Beaumont and Winnie. Deputies attempted to stopthe vehicle on I-10 in Vidor when he
sped off. A spike strip was used to slow down the driver before he hit the median. The
investigation into why he refused to stop. He is jailed facing multiple charges.
