The DPS reports a Silsbee man was struck and killed by a vehicle that left the scene around 3:00
this morning in Hardin County on Highway 69, just north of Hooks Cemetery Road. DPS Lt.
Chuck Havard says they are looking for the driver that left the scene. The victim, 51-year old
Antonio Jose Thomas, was pronounced dead at the scene. Anyone with any information is asked
to contact the DPS.
