(San Antonio, TX) -- Country music legend Willie Nelson is helping Democrats from his home state of Texas who broke quorum in protest over a proposed voting bill. He pitched in five-thousand dollars to their support fund and also posted a video urging others to donate. The Democrats left Texas on Monday. That denied state Republicans a vote on a bill that would ban drive-through voting and 24-hour polling places as well as place limits on the rules for voting by mail.
