A Port Arthur man has been sentenced to more than two years in federal prison for firearm violations. In March of last year, 33-year old Lorenzo Antonio Salinas was a passenger in a car that was stopped for a traffic violation. A pistol was found under the passenger’s seat. Salinas, a convicted felon is prohibited from possessing a firearm. He pleaded guilty to the charges in April and was sentenced to 27 months yesterday.
