The DPS is trying to identify a fatality victim, who suffered severe burns in a wreck on I-10 in
Orange County last night. The victim was traveling at an unsafe speed on I-10 west, near the
MLK exit and struck a disabled 18-wheeler that was parked on the shoulder of the interstate. The
impact forced the vehicle across all lanes of traffic, striking the concrete barrier, and bursting
into flames. The victim has not been identified due the extreme burns in the crash. The driver of
the 18-wheeler was not hurt.
