Higher Court Rules School District's Can Allow Masks

(Austin, TX) -- The Texas Supreme Court is temporarily allowing school districts to require masks on campus. The Court dismissed a request from Governor Abbott and Attorney General Ken Paxton to overturn the temporary restraining orders issued by a district judge. The Court said the officials must first go through the court of appeals. This comes after the Texas Education Agency announced that the Governor's ban of mask mandates is not being enforced for the time being due to ongoing litigation.
